With the increasing elderly population Korea, there is a rapid increase of arthritis, which means the demand for Rheumatology is also increasing.

Many of arthritis patients are elderly. And also, many of elderly arthritis patients have other disease caused by arthritis. A simple action of reckless drug taking in order to reduce the pain can cause worsening of existing disease and may cause serious side effects. Therefore the department of rheumatology makes sure that patients are educated in the use of arthritis therapy drugs.
